This is a weird claim. It cites Rob Goldstone's interview, at which he was surely asked abt his June 14 email tying the hack of the DNC to the Trump Tower meeting. So effectively he must have disavowed his comment from June 14. But is that credible?pic.twitter.com/gmwGUbQ8K3
It's kind of weird that HPSCI put the May 20 NRA Don Jr meeting after the June 9 Trump Tower meeting, especially since the earlier meeting might have influenced Don Jr's expectations for what the Trump Tower means.
And then they put the April Mayflower meeting involving Sessions AFTER the May 10 email to Sessions asking how to proceed w/Putin's emissary.
Jr's lack of surprise at being told the Russian government was supporting his father is something I can't let go. The Torshin meeting is the most obvious time he could have been told about it and perhaps explains why Kushner, Manafort, and Jr all attended the tower meeting.
