      @emptywheel Well, first, not so sure I cheer the use of §1001 this way on anybody, but it is a valid provision currently. Secondly, the way the McCabe matter was handled, and the rushed manner is extremely disturbing. And the thought that it's common on Feebs is ludicrous.
