The people demanding a more involved Syria "strategy/plan" from Trump mean that they want miltary intervention.

There are half a dozen major sides in the Syrian Civil War, not even counting outsiders like Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Iran - military intervention's bad enough when you know who you want to shoot. Maybe Congress should decide that before letting Trump shoot anybody.

fwiw, the senators are freaking out b/c Trump might pull US troops out of Syria. "Trump does't have a Syria policy" isn't valid criticism if it's code word for let's keep US troops indefinitely & why not also start a proxy war with Iran as Israel is doing.
