As far as I know, Cohen was born in Russia and is a naturalized US citizen. Unless he gave up his Russian citizenship (which he might have, to avoid being drafted), he might still have a Russian passport, and wouldn't need a visa.

Corrected. So that makes him a dual citizen at birth. So my point still stands: Unless he renounced his Russian citizenship, he would not even be allowed entry into Russia with his American passport. He would be under legal obligation to show his Russian passport.
