Let put my Q about Access Hollywood a different way, since few seem to understand it. If Mueller had reason to believe that the Access Hollywood evidence at Cohen's office will indicate coordination with the WikiLeaks release, do you think Rosenstein would have referred it?

For those suggesting that Rosenstein may have referred this to get a clean team--I think that's quite likely, but still speculative. That said, Rosenstein did NOT referMelissa Laurenza interview OR the Skadden Arps investigation, both of which also implicate attorney client.

Would it be plausible that Rosenstein referred it out simply as political cover due to the drama of obtaining otherwise privileged material from the lawyer of a sitting POTUS?
