I think it makes it far far easier to get the warrant (bc then Trump has either waived privilege or his statement is evidence of fraud), tho as others have pointed out, it couldn't have gotten approved over a weekend.

But Cohen's attorney said, way before Trump did, that Trump didn't know about it. Cohen's attorney said Cohen did it on his own. He said it on tv, at least a week, maybe 2 before Trump said it. Could that have been the catalyst?
