Geoffrey Berman & Robert Khuzami can NOT be trusted: https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/03/jeff-sessions-is-evading-senate-confirmation-of-u-s-attorneys-in-jurisdictions-where-trump-might-be-investigated.html …https://twitter.com/jeffhauser/status/948916181712429056 …

IF my paranoia is warranted... Berman likely can't readily deny seeking a warrant for raid understood to be appropriate by a bunch of career SDNY/FBI types, and/but he can slowroll processing the material, give blow by blow reports to Trump (who interviewed him personally), (1/2)

and make all sorts of "he is the boss decisions" beneficial to his patron. The fact Berman is in this position without even being NOMINATED to the position is EXTRAORDINARILY inappropriate. (2/2)

(honestly, you could imagine Mueller's team trying to figure out what is up with the Berman installation and kinda testing him... -- that Berman and Khuzami are key Deutsche Bank lawyers can't have escaped their attention...)

I'm now remembering the infamous NYT story (late Nov 2016) - never explained by NYT mgmt. - 'FBI sees no Russian involvement in election,' which I assume came from anon. sources in FBI's NYC field office. Might Mueller's team & DoJ mgmt know the office politics there by now?
