So Trump fought sprinklers bc the billionaire couldn't afford him and his 50 story building gave other residents no warning (unless they're Michael Cohen's personal friend). Maybe this is an opportunity to talk about what we should really look for in a Commander in Chief?

Don't get me wrong: I think the US, metaphorically, *also* has no sprinklers and warning system for those who aren't friends. The Trump Effect makes it obvious how stupid that approach is, though.

Aren't sprinklers in buildings required by Fire Dept? I wonder how this gets missed by inspectors.

They grandfathered older buildings in w/o sprinklers, tho I've seen something that said TT hasn't been inspected recently.

That would be a good guess. That thought had crossed my mind as well RE building's age. But still, the timing is curious. I wonder if Trump Inc recently received a subpoena for docs that may have "accidetically" been destroyed. Accidental fires always seem Gangster to me. ;)

Looks like these were apartments on floors affected. It was curious to read though that Manafort also had an apartment there as well.
