Nothing. What's missing from that statement is "as of today". Obstruction is also an impeachable offense - for a sitting POTUS - not a criminal charge.

Yeah, saw that. But - as a non-lawyer - I take that as merely saying it wouldn't be double jeopardy for the Party to be prosecuted afterwards. I'm wondering whether prosecution *before* impeachment is prohibited by more than common wisdom: a specific statute or legal theory.
