I don't think that's the case as Wilson did not really key in on this fact from the conversation, nor is he intimately familiar with the case. He wasn't even sure Papadopoulos told him anything new.
How is that inconsistent with what I said? It seems utterly consistent with it -- but not with your "explosive new claim" hed.

No. I'm suggesting that the report doesn't seem to support the explosive new claim charge. It does advance what we think we might know somewhat, in ways that'll make Sessions deservedly uncomfortable.

I think that's a fair point but it would contradict Session's testimony that his communications with GP consisted of him waiving him off Russia connections

Which 1) is a claim AFAIK limited to the March 31 meeting and 2) has already been refuted by 3 sources who testified to one or another authority.

I'm happy to have the incremental proof that Sessions is in a lot more pokey than he claims. But I also don't want him to have reason to have to quit before Mueller is ready with the magnet indictment.
