Dude worked as a computer repair tech so was tech savvy, but not savvy enough to get a burner Chromebook for bomb-related Googling, or to get a burner phone for running around town to do bomb things. Really strange.https://twitter.com/OliviaMesser/status/976474660312440832 …

What kind of explosives was he using? Any reason to suspect it was among those w/standing 215 or related collection?
-
Also, when they say they got info from the drop-off, couldn't they have gotten location data, perhaps from phone or car?

It looks like they had his cell phone and his Google history. The apparent lack of a burner phone is puzzling to me.http://www.khou.com/article/news/local/texas/austin-bombing-suspect-dead-after-blowing-self-up/285-530547258 …

Also, was he really dumb enough to be logged into Google while doing his bomb making searches, or is this Google tracking his logged out searches.
-
Also, for a former computer repair tech, he really doesn't have an online social footprint at all. He has to at least have accounts on something like Steam or Reddit that haven't been found, yet.

These batteries would be a weak link, right? It would be very normal for ATF to do a subpoena for whoever had bought/searched for such batteries.https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/austin-bombings-suspect-believed-neutralized-sources-n858576 …
