Cambridge is one of those cities (Princeton is another) that companies like to include in their name in the hopes of getting reflected prestige from the fancy university there.
It's a tedious city though (Princeton may be too, I'm agnostic on that one).

Princeton definitely is. But business all over NJ (and beyond) still use the name.

My b-in-law used to go to a dance club just beyond the Cambridge city line. We used to make fun of how the city made a line in the sand where fun could be had again.

VERY similar to Princeton in that regard.
