This one honestly does stick in my craw. What do you think being under FBI investigation is like, including a ton of Trump associates who are actually innocent?https://twitter.com/AshaRangappa_/status/975172971299049473 …

I see what you mean now. Are there actually lots of innocent Trump associates caught up in investigations tho? Not being an ass just can't think of any, unless they haven't been reported on.
-
I assume most of the White House witnesses who've had to pay 5-figures to prepare for a Mueller team interview, yes.
-
On the list of ppl we kno SC has interviewed I'm not seeing any who I'd call "innocent". Sure they haven't been charged with anything, but everyone on that list seems to have been involved in collusion, conspiracy, or obstruction. Others like Yates, I assume weren't terrified.
-
Pretty sure the public list has its biggest gaps where people provide information willingly, for good reason.

thanks for all the replies and explaining this.

His corruption was clear to anyone who's cared to look for decades. It's not like they were signing up to work at Ben and Jerry's. While I can fee remorse for people unwittingly swept up, that hardly seems the case here.
-
And some people worked for Trump bc they thought he should have competent people.
-
Buyer beware. I'm a pretty employable security guy, but if the Roy Moore election committee had called last summer and even offered to triple my comp...yeah that's a pass. Has to be moral hazard somewhere in the system.
-
I would however likely feel quite differently if there had been resignations over *any* of the messes of the last year but......no one can credibly claim ignorance for at least the last year.
