The only time I use @facebook is to post updates like this. Facebook is garbage that doesn't protect or value it's users. They have monetized users extremely recklessly.

The argument over the word breach is specifically to to with EU GDPR, and not a sideshow. It is a risk to 4% of FB's global turnover and the breach is to a Euro Human Rightnof Privacy. This is FBs focus, and their main concern right now.

EU GDPR is extr-territorial, like US FCPA, and like EU competition law which has resulted in billions in fines from US corps. This is a global, enforceable risk to them.

Without knowing whether the FB respondents were voters with known voting frequencies, the psychometric FB data would be of limited use. If you could marry it with data from voter rolls, you'd have something...If only someone hacked voter rolls
