Isn’t it unusual that Congress and public haven’t even seen IG report before McCabe’s Friday night firing?
In 2007, Alberto Gonzales resigned just as DOJ IG was starting an investigation into his TS/SCI CYA file he had in his home safe. I bet he was threatened with the kind of treatment McCabe got if he didn't resign. But there were policy reasons for that.
