McCabes statement is pretty strong.
I'm sure I mostly agree with McCabe as a person. I'm also sure that any other Feeb, especially in this climate, would be staving off jail.

I'm withholding final judgment but 1) I trust Horowitz more than I trust any of the other players here 2) I know a line agent would be royally fucked for sharing w/the press, much less being less than forthcoming about it.

That's true and it's also possible McCabes assertions of silencing, discrediting a witness may also be true at the same time? Sessions was certainly less than forthcoming in his own testimony.

I will never defend Sessions. Or Rosenstein. They're inadequate to this moment, but all we've got.

He'll prolly have more time now, but who knows? Is he smart enough to leak that Pruitt was behind the Pruitt to DOJ rumors so Sessions would be maximally brutal just to get fired himself? The only thing he's good at is being vindictive.
