21 years of service, fired one day before retiring and claiming his pension, by a boss who's lied numerous times under oath to protect a mobbed-up, authoritarian POTUS. This is frightening, and bears no resemblance to Winner's situation.

I am also aware--by experience--that federal IGs are generally good folk who track down the facts and apply the law without regard to politics. But their recommendations--once made--are not acted on in a politics-free environment. Something scary is happening on the backend here.

I’m curious about it. At 22 years he’s not CSRS and even though law enforcement is different on timing, he’d lose substantial percentages for the length of his retirement. Regardless at 22 years he was vested long ago.
