This is a pretty simple call. Retired released former spy is not the same as an active terrorist.Just not the same thing.That doesn't mean we are innocent, but exacting retribution on a class of people to intimidate your own citizens is objectively worse than killing terrorists.

Umm. That was the title of the piece. The word "terrorist" is even more meaningless than "defector." THAT's the entire point. Pompeo's idea of terrorist MIGHT include defectors.
