It's just more FUD on the part of these guys. If a judge recuses, there's really not a big reason to need to know why, bc even if the why is interesting, recusal is the right remedy.

You do realize the judge voluntarily recused himself? In addition the Federalist story is full of egregious hyperbole and exaggeration. Even the far-right Daily Caller didn't go that far. Why aren't Wray and Rosenstein?

I have seen no proof either way whether he recused or was removed. It is still an open question. But if he recused 5 days after presiding over Flynn case, then the conflict most likely existed then too. Time will tell.
