Here's the problem with outsourcing Twitter's banning to robots. They protect their fellow robots more aggressively than they protect, say, human women. HAL warned us this would happen.

They don't have the investigative resources to determine each claim's validity; hence "shoot first, ask questions later" is their policy. So many accounts got banned.
