The Russian bots supported both Pro-Trump and Anti-Trump activities, "black lives matter" movement as well as Bernie Sanders' presidential bid. Their aim is to sow discord and divide the US. Liberal and conservative bloggers and journalists all fell prey and amplify this effort.

All political bots are bad. Trolls too.

Anyone else remember "Correct The Record"?

I knew something was up when I unfollowed Albright awhile back. I supported Sanders for Senate but never for President & never on Twitter. Still see the same porn model with the same tear shaped face trying to follow me under diff accounts & wigs.

Interesting read. Thanks. I’d have to agree with @SallyAlbright that I think it’s different, and give her credit for responding openly. But I agree that Twitter is a skewed platform, probably beyond meaningful repair. Yet how do we avoid it?

What the Americans are doing to themselves with bots and trolls is worse than what any outside force is going. Obama won awards for his marketing campaign. But, the coming war that Trump is going to fight, won't be about that, it will be an effort to maintain that system.
