What’s a gold star on a driver’s license?
Tried (unsuccessfully) to get a Gold Star on my driver's license. Who's been fired while I was dealing with GOP-Run-Govt-Like-a-Badly-Run-Business Bureaucracy?

Take a look at your state guidelines. Here (DC) they started off saying we had to replace licenses right away, then they said wait, now they won’t let you replace it until it expires even tho Real ID is allegedly required for flying & admittance to many fed buildings. I give up.
