From the media accounts folks seem to be arguing that the defense is being denied access to the classified material.
The defense team is in several different cities, making SCIF work even harder than it normally is. And I think USG was trying to prevent them from doing what should be unclassified searches on the info.

The issue of counsel in different cities is a loser. As for classified versus unclassified as you know that's the governments call although nothing stops an in camera challenge.
