Beside the point, I know, but didn't W have Cheney as a nanny to interrupt and answer the tough questions? That seemed to me at the time to be beyond precedent.

Enh. He was just the flunky president in that. Only had to say he OK'd Cheney's outing of a CIA network, thereby making it legal. Treason in the White House was simply another dirty trick.
