It is possible that 1) letting Nunberg melt down on TV in amusing fashion is not why the public hates the media 2) yesterday's circus went well beyond the definition of newsworthy.

I'm confused. What is the problem here? That the media got newsworthy interviews? That they pressed him for information? That they didn't play attorney for him and advise him to not be so fucking stupid?

I mean that's obviously true. I'm just wondering what that means in practice for what was wrong with yesterday? The interviews were wacky but definitely on topic and definitely relevant. Getting him to admit Trump is probably guilty is a pretty big deal.
