It is possible that 1) letting Nunberg melt down on TV in amusing fashion is not why the public hates the media 2) yesterday's circus went well beyond the definition of newsworthy.

I agree that Nunberg's GJ testimony -- and his grant of immunity, if indeed he was really granted it -- is newsworthy. But those details, and the possible explanation behind it, barely make the coverage.
