First, the NBC report is not the first media report that voter registration roles were penetrated. Those reports are months old. Second, the NBC report does not state that voter tallies were altered as the DHS spokesman rebuttal stated.

They rebutted tampering with vote tallying systems. I think NBC reported tampering with voter registration systems, though?

Good. The NBC article is the 3rd or 4th time of rehashing the same story to sound scarier than it is and contained no new relevant information. It's trash and irresponsible narrative rigging, not objective reporting.

There's no denial of the Central claim here, just a lot of angry words.
