Remember, one reason why Ash Carter wanted to fire Admiral Rogers is bc he was hesitant to use NSA's toys against ISIS in a CyberCom role. Not many people were screaming abt Obama coddling ISIS as a result.

I didn't watch it but today's hearing on CyberCom appears to have proven that the press needs FAR BETTER understanding of difference bt NSA and CyberCom going forward.

Plus, things are undoubtedly complicated against RU given that (at least as of January) NSA had no fucking clue the extent of tools stolen in conjunction w/Shadow Brokers op. Makes it hard to attack safely, I'd imagine.

Jeebus. I did listen now and it's even more complex than I expected. Cmon people. Also note: we should have same anger that Trump has outsourced POTUS decisions on ROE to Mattis as that he's not exercising POTUS responsibility here.
