Of course Russians would do all that. I'm just laughing at the notion that Obama's DOG or FBI would protect Trump from that.

But if his campaign really was infiltrated by spies, then how would protecting him from that not amount to protecting him?
We're talking about motives, which we obviously can't ascertain, so we're in a land of conjecture. My guess is that people like Andy McCabe and Peter Strzok (or Loretta Lynch, for that matter) had no interest in protecting Trump.
