What do you make of the idea circulating that Manafort holds out for a pardon or goes to trial rather than plea because cooperation would put him in danger of assassination?

He either flips, and leaves trump grasping for air, or offs himself. He will not allow his family the humiliation of a conviction. Supposedly a hard nosed guy, if so, we will see how hard nose he is.

Kind of sick and disturbing that we find it so easy to believe he may actually be in danger of assassination, like so many of Putin's opponents. That's what Trump voters, Sanders voters, and Stein voters let into the White House.
