In CORRLINKS, the email program for FBOP, incarcerated persons cannot copy & paste. Unlike email, CORRLINKS doesn't have search feature. That's a pain in the neck if u correspond w/multiple people. CORRLINKS deletes your emails after 60 days. CORRLINKS email cost 10 cents/min.
Didn't know prisoners had to pay to use it. Is there anyway those emailing with them can pick up the tab?

with jpay you can send some of your stamps / buy more stamps to send with your letter so the person can reply

Of course. Prisons wouldn't make profits otherwise if they didn't charge incarcerated persons exorbitant prices 4 calls, email, video visitation & commissary. U can send money 2 the person's account. Process @ local, state, federal penal institutions are different though.

@candoclemency - RE Federal Bureau of Prisons, didn't the profits from commissary and the like used to be reinvested in inmate programming but no longer do we know where those profits go?
