In the end, this whole thing really doesn't matter a hell of a lot either way. The WH story is interesting mainly for what it indicates abt the internecine warfare in West Wing.

It matters bc someone who should not have had access to the most sensitive national security info had access. Trump bypassed his limited security clearance. Kelly also ignored it. It’s a fantastically worrying security breach. Who else beside Porter and Kushner are blackmailable?
