Agree. Read York too. He's especially useful for reading between the lines (as always). https://twitter.com/russiaexplainer/status/961662163898290177 …

That's not why I recommend you read them. They all have stuff to teach people.

@emptywheel do you go along with this? Asking sincerely.http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-what-explains-the-fbis-deep-faith-in-trump-dossier-author-christopher-steele/article/2648488 …2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
When I advocate people reading stuff they disagree with, I'm not generally suggesting I'm "going along with" it.

Yeah. I get that you're not advocating a particular perspective. I'm asking if you happen yo agree w York here re: his take right regarding Steele lying? About FBI reliance on steele?

I said when news of the referral came out that it would pertain to whether he spoke to the press. I think York misrepresents some of the explanations. And doesn't account for how DOJ generally bases corroboration on source reliability.

Agree with that first list wholeheartedly. Especially Chuck. Lose me with York. He seems to be more than willing to be purposefully dishonest.
