Nah, combo of the GOP mostly just staying away, and Schiff and Gowdy (!!) being better prosecutors than anyone on the (as @russfeingold dubbed it) the Prosecutors Committee.
Anyway... I'm surely not saying the committee lacks people of both skill & goodwill. Rather, in the grand scheme of things, it (as have other committees of the House in this sort of situation) struggles to operate as "a committee".
You will NOT find me arguing that HPSCI is anything but a shitshow. News at 11.
