If you ask the Republicans, footnotes aren't informative. That's where the sourcing of the Steele dossier was noted and that apparently means nothing (I kid, I kid, and also cry....GD this is all so stupid).
Yeah. Pretty much this whole thing might be best explained by the fact that Republicans never read footnotes.
