      perhaps if there was FISA obtained on Manafort, after he left campaign, the dossier was not used to support it. same on Flynn.

      Why wiretap on Manafort w/regard 2 Dossier? They have Party of Region's Black Book ledger payout to Manafort. And paper from questionable property deals. And his business links with pro-Putin oligarchs like Deripaska. Don't need Dossier to argue probable cause to FISC.

      Replying to @JonathanLanday @lrozen I think it's possible that reports of Manafort's wiretap describe it as FISA when it may have been TIII. https://www.emptywheel.net/2017/09/19/why-was-manafort-fisa-tapped-rather-than-criminal-tapped/ … They certainly had PC for money laundering. & he and Gates have gotten 19 SW applications, but no FISA notice.

      Yep. And let's not forget that Deripaska was looking to make a deal on getting off visa ban list in return for documents on Manafort.
