Which is to say while there *were* a lot more application modifications last year (which I suspect stems from a new technological means of spying, not any new concerns about privacy), there weren't any more rejections.
Has there ever been a FISA application/form released into the public domain? Even a heavily redacted one?
No. More problematic still, no defendant has ever gotten to review an application in classified form, even tho bill's authors envisioned that would happen from time to time.
I think a mock or a sample application would go far because people are spinning that it's the most complicated legal processes known to man and others are saying post 9/11 they were given out like candy.
