That said, particularly given that Page (who is admittedly nuts) thought Ryan would release his FISA app, the Q of who leaked that story becomes far more important.
And yes, I think 3 is a good thing. DOJ probably believes, correctly, that it will lead to sources and methods being compromised over time. At the very least, some defense attorneys will learn a lot more about how FISA works.
