The Nunes Memo is the Joe Kennedy of memos. Anyway, I am an example of person who sees former spies and cops as very dishonest and takes this as a reflection on the espionage and law enforcement agencies. I suppose I'd give them more credit if I saw heroism and public service
Also hilariously crazy factual errors. I hate when former spooks and agents write hilariously factually incorrect arguments bc it discredits their agencies.

The essay talks about "rule of law". In my opinion, there is no such thing as law in secrecy. The Code of Hammurabi of written so all could learn the code and know what was expected of them. Rule of law is when the rules are clearly written down, all can review the laws, and see

I often wonder if the US should go with the civil code like the rest of the world (except the UK) instead of common law.
