Indeed, one key complaint, for those who paid attention, to this year's 702 reauth was that FBI continues to refuse to accept legislation mandating meaningful reporting on a slew of their practices. Hell, FBI refused to negotiate w/HJC over similar issues.

So in short, her argument proves 1) she doesn't know what has happened in recent years (or what kind of political coalition has made it happen) 2) but she's willing to use the fruit of that meager progress to spin her side misleadingly.
