The one thing that seemed like a legitimate point of concern in that memo was the apparent failure to disclose that the Steele Dossier originated as oppo research. If they DID disclose that, and the beef is just that they didn’t say “DNC”, then this is pure clownshow.
The wording of the memo suggests they didn't say oppo research, but it also doesn't make clear whether DOJ knew precisely who was paying Fusion.

I don’t know, it says they didn’t “reference the role of the DNC, Clinton campaign, or any party/campaign.” That’s consistent with having said it was commissioned by political opponents, or for the purpose of uncovering politically embarrassing information.
