I think you miss the point. Nunes says FBI is abusive. But then, without making reforms even Michael Hayden and Dianne Feinstein say are necessary, he gave FBI more authority.

Because they generally trust the FBI. The election fiasco which included both candidates was a disgrace for senior leaders at the FBI. It was a unique situation. We can't really judge till we read the memo.

Uh... all the memo is is a claim of what happened. Oddly, seemingly no one else supports the idea that: 1) the political origins of dossier were not shared with the court 2) that McCabe said it was the only or principal basis of the application Now, go sleep in your pee.

If that's all it is, as you guys claim, then why did the feds try to get names redacted, why did dems such as Swalwell say it was going to scorch the FBI, Pelosi called it a threat to our security, etc, etc??

For fun do a twitter search for Church Committee the number of right wingers who don't understand what it was and why it was is amazing. Also it was Saint Reagan of Tax Cuts who undid the Church Committee in the first place

It's amazing how history repeats itself! But look at this: LBJ knew that Nixon's campaign was "colluding" with South Vietnam to sabotage the Paris talks. But he didn't publicize that info. It would 1) cause chaos and 2) show FBI had spied on that campaign. Amazing!!!

Nunes hired Derrick Harvey who was hired by Flynn at NSA and removed by McMaster. Harvey was the staffer who wrote the memo. It is a big stitch up
