And how, exactly, are they in any way threatening witnesses - by publishing a memo addressing a claim of serious abuse of domestic spying powers?

Ostensibly as part of this investigation, a member of Trump's transition team arranged to read all of what Mueller is doing. So his staffers know who was interviewed and what they said. Including confidential human sources.

Which of course would be odd and not very likely - and I have seen no evidence of such.

What do you mean it's "not very likely?" It's fact. There is zero doubt that Nunes' staffers got access to everything, bc Ryan made FBI give him access to it.

That's funny. Right now on Morning Joe they have Natasha Bertrand on (who has no knowledge of what's in the memo herself) going on and on saying that Nunes' memo is a fraud because he hasn't seen ANYTHING. She even said ONLY ADAM SCHIFF has.

You'll note I said Nunes' staffers? You'll agree his staffers are not him? Also, Gowdy has seen the documents (Nunes may have seen one, the most sensitive one). He says people should back off the Mueller investigation bc of the seriousness of the spying it is investigating.

And I don't care what Gowdy has said about the Mueller investigation. Although I do hold the position that there was no LEGITIMATE BASIS to appoint a Special Counsel in this matter and that it was an UNWISE and UNJUSTIFIED action.
