The FISA application included lies from a hired gun on Clinton's payroll. If you don't immediately get, in your gut, what's wrong with that, there's no explaining it to you.https://twitter.com/Evan_McMullin/status/958752347592843265 …

The moral of the story is....there’s a history of the FISA Court being abused, so accusations that it was abused during the campaign/election probably isn’t a stretch. Correct?
-
You misstated what I said. I--a fierce civil liberties person--say the FISA Court is generally better than people make out (except for Rosemary Collyer).
-
Curious: what do you mean there by "during the campaign/election"?
-
During the primary and general elections. During the campaigning period. Also, the already unclassified court documents don’t exactly paint a great picture of what was happening.
-
But who? Page wasn't part of the campaign anymore. So for his purposes, it WASN'T part of the campaign. Are you suggesting he was still doing Trump's work?
-
I guess we’ll see. They had Manafort under surveillance since 2014, so it’s a bit strange that they didn’t start surveillance on the Trump campaign until right after he left.
-
It’s also strange that the Clinton camp was working so closely with the Ukrainians. They were getting “information” about Manafort from them. I wonder how much information flows between our agencies and theirs?

-
It’s ALSO strange that Grassley just asked for documents from the DNC/Clinton camp from March 2016 onwards. The same month the Podesta emails ended. Odd.
