Gowdy's district includes my hometown. You won't find a more reliably red district-- he trounced Bob Inglis in a primary for the seat. Inglis's offenses: he thought the DREAM Act was a good idea and though Joe Wilson's "YOU LIE" was disrespectful. So they threw him out.

Yes. I remember. And I've got family who lives there; I know the district (went to a wedding 10 days before 2004 election, which darn near got me killed). Inglis was a good person.
