I was radicalized in Hattiesburg, MS, too. That dog knows what's up.

What is up? She's coming along nicely but boy does she have demons.
-
The city itself is pretty chill, but if she came out of the rural areas, there's a good chance she was radicalized by the vicious palmetto bugs living in the pine trees.
-
She's not used to stairs. Does that help?
-
It is pretty flat around here. Did she come from a shelter?
-
Yup. Apparently dogs don't get adopted easily in the south, so get shipped up here (MI). We're fostering her from the local Humane Society. Our last foster was from AR. Both Pit mixes.
-
There's a lot of dog-fighting in MS and Pits are popular. People don't take care of them sometimes, and they escape, run wild, or stay on a chain. A few times a year there's a raid on puppy mills and the shelters are overwhelmed. The state leg is also awful about animal rights.
-
She definitely lived in a house, bc she knows the best tactics for stealing people food. Also how to terrorize the infrastructure. But no stairs. Also a dog food snob perhaps bc she got so much people food.

Who won the stand off?

It was just rejoined.

Couldn’t figure out what our dog was growling at for the longest time. Was seeing my reflection in kitchen window. Thought it was a stranger.
-
Yeah, she does that a lot. This was silent though, head cocked, just watching.
-
She’s very cute. Looks as though she’s really trying to figure this good new life out.
-
She is very charming when she's not conducting terrorist attacks, admittedly.

She is marked like a Dane.
-
She's ~45 pounds. Medium sized dog.
-
So the other parent was a mouse. I'm looking at that tail, I get batted around daily by one that looks like that.
-
Could be. You can't see it but there's a tiny bunch of white hair at the tip of her tail -- thus the name.

Does he respond only to commands in German?
-
Commands? Those aren't her style.
-
More power to her!
