I believe I have long been that, Janine. That's at least how I've always understood it.

This seems inaccurate and unfair : "The truth lies somewhere between Trump being a Manchurian Candidate and Greenwald’s insistence that the Russia story is a fabrication of a fevered, Russo-phobic liberal mind." Does that really describe your position?

No, that not does not even remotely describe my position. That in fact attributes to me a belief that I have repeatedly and explicitly repudiated.

Marcy is basically the only "Russia definitely did something" journo i respect, but she's leaving out issues I know she's heard. For example Crowdstrike's 'discovery' of Russian hacking of Ukrainian artillery. She continues to refer to "APT28" as if it's beyond dispute.

1) I’ve written about that, even before voa covered it, so I’m not leaving it out. 2) I say RU did it, not necessarily GRU. And I’ve noted they built in several layers of plausible deniability.

Why would they go to the trouble of building in several layers of plausible deniability yet leave some Russian equivalent of "Kilroy was here" cyber-written as "evidence" of a high-level Russian hack on the DNC? Part of a synergistic blend of extreme implausibilities in all this.

It is interesting how the grand unifying theory (not accusing Wheeler of this) goes from deeply sophisticated cover up (cutouts to WikiLeaks, secret messages in public speeches) to flagrantly amateurish (Facebook ads in rubles)

I'm not focused at all on Facebook, and think that part, especially, is way overblown.
