I tell my students to look for author's names and cedentials when evaluating info.

There are a lot of people with PhDs who do shoddy work. Most of the DC Think Tank establishment, for example. I prefer to rely on my record, not pieces of paper acquired years ago.

I guess I'm suggesting that source assessments should rely on literacy of the presentation, not credentialism. Particularly as it relates to NatSec, bc of the secrecy.
