I really appreciate Marcy's constant detail-focused reporting. If I had to nitpick something, I hear nails-on-chalkboard every time anyone uses skeptic when they mean contrarian. As a scientist & former journo, skepticism is vitally important (yet all too uncommon) these days

You're reporting is gold-standard, I just hear this a lot (also see "theory" colloquial vs scientific use, ugh). A skeptic's mind is easy to change once one can present convincing evidence. Contrarian will grasp for alternative theories despite the evidence.
