@emptywheel In TNR you alluded to fb's observing activity in realtime before (except not naming fb, iirc). Wondering if you cld elaborate any on that? Was that activity on fb netwk, or via fb's general user-tracking/following?

FB does its own cybersecurity and it has a global reach. I don't know many details beyond that, but they track known adversary infrastructure just as any big SIGINT agency would.

Wish we could get you and GG and some serious others (maybe Hennessy) in a room to to pull apart the several aspects of this & discuss what evidence there is and is not. I think you're prob right that the truth is somewhere in the middle (tho i lean more toward the GG side).

This deserves serious & deep consideration but we don't get anything like it on the netwks or major print/web outlets. It's just buried in partisanship, inc. the split btw Dems & leftists. You're one of very few who sticks to evidence w/o buying into an ideological shorthand.
